About ATS Wind Energy ServicesDAVID GRIM TAKES 1st PLACE IN MINNESOTA DRIVING COMPETITION

David Grim received 1st Place in the Minnesota Truck Driving Championships held June 6th - 8th, 2008. Grim started with ATS Inc. as a company driver in April 2005, then became an Owner Operator who purchased a new truck last year.

Grim is from Smicksburg, PA. He competed in the 5-axle sleeper berth class. There are eight classes in the contest. Grim had the second top cumulative score in his class following the written test, personal interview, driving skills course and a pre-trip inspection at the end of Saturdays competition. The top three drivers in each class then drove on Sunday to determine first, second and third place.

"I am extremely proud to have David Grim and the entire ATS Roadeo Team represent ATS in this annual competition", stated Rollie Anderson, President and CEO. "They are a fine group of drivers who exemplify the best in their industry".

The competition, which is referred to as a "Roadeo", is made up of four examinations that test various aspects of the professional truck driver's job. The tests include a written test covering the trucking industry; safe driving rules; first aid and fire fighting; an interview assessing the driver's character and attitude; physical inspection of the truck prior to driving to identify defects planted by the judges, and driving through six pre-arranged problems on the skills course. The competition is held among eight classes of trucks, ranging from straight trucks to tractor-trailer combinations with a variety of axle configurations and trailing equipment.

The truck driving championship was held at the Yellow Freight facility in Burnsville, MN. There were a total of 111 contestants participating from a number of trucking companies from across the state of Minnesota. "We are extremely proud of these driver's for taking the time and initiative to study and practice for this competition," said Scott Anderson, ATS Director of Safety.

The other members of the team were Alex Aguerro, Mike McKee and Chris McGee. The outstanding effort and time that these drivers put in is greatly appreciated and they all deserve a pat on the back for their efforts. Congratulations!

ATS would like to say a special thank you to retired driver, Bill 'Duck' Wang who coached this year's team and without him we would not have been able to perform so well at this level.
